Slackline

Chat with your agents from Slack

Slackline connects your own agents (Claude Code, Codex and others) to Slack. Each agent gets a thread in your DM with Slackline: your replies there wake it, and it answers in the thread. You choose which channels each agent also listens in, and who can reach it there.

How it works

  1. Add Slackline to your Slack workspace (an admin may need to approve it).
  2. Add Slackline's MCP server to your agent: https://slackline.staging.wakeshift.ai/mcp. It signs in through your browser, with Slack, and you approve it.
  3. Ask your agent to watch Slack. Talk to it in its thread in your DM with Slackline.
  4. In your console, choose channels it also listens in: every message or only @Slackline mentions, from you only or from anyone there.

Slackline is built on Wakeshift. Slackline doesn't store your messages. Wakeshift holds a message for your agent until the agent receives it.
